Here is when to take your Shaklee vitamins/supplements in general.
Sustained Release Vitamin C 500mg – 1tablet after meal. Untuk orang yang sakit, perokok, resdung teruk can take 2-3 biji sehari. Example, 1tab aft breakfast, 1tab aft lunch, 1tab aft dinner. Kalau demam pun can take 2tab sekali makan.
Chewable Vita-C Plus 100mg – After meal. Children: 1-3tab a day. Adult: 3-6tab a day.
B-Complex – 1tab aft meal (aft breakfast/lunch sebab this vitamin gives energy). If under lots of stress, take 2tab/day (1morning & 1afternoon). Make sure you drink enough water.
Vitalea – 1tab after meal. Can take 2for those with low HB/kurang darah. CANNOT be taken with Vitamin E, GLA, susu/Ostematrix/Calcium pada masa yang sama sebab akan menghalang penyerapan iron.
Alfalfa – Max intake 10tab/day after meal. For nursing mom, take 2-3tab/day. If breastmilk supply is still low and to boost supply, add 1tab after each pump. For normal daily intake, 2-3tab is sufficient.
ESP – Max 3tbl.sp/day. Can be mix with variety of beverages. DO NOT mix with hot water or hot beverages, it will damage the protein.
Ostematrix – 2-4tab before bed. This is because, calcium is absorb the longest during sleep. Usually 2tab/day is sufficient. But if you do not consume milk in your normal diet, take 4tabs/day.
Vitamin E – 1tab aft meal. CANNOT be taken with Vitalea & GLA pada masa yang sama sebab akan menghalang penyerapan Vitamin E. Perlu jarakkan 2jam pengambilan dengan vitamin-vitamin ini.
Nutriferon – 1-2 sachet per week to increase immunisation. Or can be taken when sick or when needed, 1 morning & 1 night until you get well.
Mealshakes – Adult: 1-3tblspn/day. Children: 1tblespn/day. Can be mix with variety of beverages. DO NOT mix with hot water or hot beverages, it will damage the protein.
Performance Drink – Can be taken as much as required at anytime. Function like 100Plus but without gas and sugar.
Vivix – 1tblspn before bed/aft breakfast.
Advance Joint Health – 2tab/day aft meal (1tab aft breakfast & dinner).
Lecithin – For slimming: 6tab/day aft meal (3tab aft lunch & dinner). For healthy hair and brain: 1-2tab/day. For children 9yo above: 1tab/day for brain development. Can be taken with OmegaGuard too.
GLA Complex – 1-2tab/day aft meal.
OmegaGuard – 1-3tab/day aft meal.
Zinc – 1tab/day (1-2hrs before meal).
Collagen powder – 1 sachet with empty stomach. (before bed or early morning).
Herb Lax – 2-4tab, 2-3times/week before bed.
DTX Complex – 1-2tab/day aft meal.
Garlic – 2tab/day aft meal.
Carotomax – 1tab aft meal.
Vitalea for Children – 1tab aft breakfast/1tab aft dinner.
Note:
Jarakkan semua supplement 2jam from coffee/tea and prescribed medication. It prevent vitamin absorption.Drink, drink and drink plenty of plain water – minimum 2liters or by your weight. Example 1liter for each 25kg of body weight. This ensure the optimum absorption of vitamins in the body.
